Stephen Conrad

Chief Executive Officer

Stephen joined LLS in 2020 after most recently serving as advisor, Board Member and CFO of Litigation Capital Management Limited. Prior to this, Stephen had a 25 year career in financial markets specialising in risk management, capital and strategy working for global investment banks in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. Stephen holds a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University together with a post graduate in Applied Finance and Investments from the Securities Institute of Australia, a B.Ec from the University of Newcastle and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.


Emma Colantonio

Senior Investment Manager

Emma holds both Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business degrees from Western Sydney University. Emma was admitted to the legal profession in 2010 and has extensive experience from roles in both private practice, most recently as Senior Associate with MinterEllison, and in-house as senior legal counsel for one of Australia’s major banks. Commencing with Litigation Lending in 2021, Emma has specialist knowledge and experience in large complex litigation including in the areas of financial services disputes, regulatory investigations, consumer and commercial disputes and insolvency


Laura Morrissey

Investment Manager

Laura holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Southern Queensland. Laura was admitted to the legal profession in 2015 and has extensive experience from roles in private practice, most recently as a Senior Associate with HWL Ebsworth Lawyers. Commencing with Litigation Lending in 2021, Laura has specialist knowledge and experience in commercial litigation and insolvency matters. Laura has particular experience acting for insolvency practitioners in large complex litigation, individuals and companies in contentious matters, as well as contractual, competition and consumer, and defamation disputes.


Alexandra Marlborough

Alexandra Stott

Investment Manager

Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance, from Bond University. Alexandra was admitted to the legal profession in 2018 and has experience in commercial litigation, most recently as an Associate in the Class Actions Practice of Shine Lawyers. Commencing with Litigation Lending in August 2022, Alexandra has specialist knowledge and experience in large complex class action litigation in a broad range of disputes, from social justice and human rights to financial services and securities litigation, against large corporations, as well as federal and state governments.


Paris Hamrey

Investment Manager

Paris holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Justice from Queensland University of Technology. Paris was admitted to the legal profession in 2016 and has experience in litigation and insurance, most recently as a Senior Associate in the Class Actions Practice of Shine Lawyers. Commencing with Litigation Lending in May 2023, Paris has specialist knowledge and experience in a broad range of large complex class action litigation including social justice and human rights, financial services, and product liability claims against large corporations, as well as federal and state governments.


Pamela Moriarty

Head of Finance

Pamela holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree and is a Chartered Accountant. Pamela joined LLS in 2016 and has over 20 years experience across financial services including global and multinational corporations based in South Africa, United Kingdom and Australia.


Ron Wiranto

Senior Financial Controller

Ron holds a Bachelor of Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of experience gained from ASX-listed companies and top-tier chartered accounting firms. Prior to joining LLS, Ron held senior positions in ASX listed companies in the finance industry including multinational corporations. He has experience in system integrations and implementations, capital raising, restructuring, managing teams, budgeting, tax, and financial reporting.


Shalvin Chand

Financial Controller

Shalvin is a highly accomplished qualified audit and financial accountant with over 14 years of experience in top-tier professional and financial services business.  Prior to joining Litigation and Lending, Shalvin held senior finance positions working within financial services industry in Sydney.


Christine Roche

Corporate Services Manager

Christine holds an Honours Bachelor Multimedia Degree from Munster Technology University in Ireland and acquired a Diploma in Marketing and Communications from Australian Pacific College in Sydney. Christine has ample experience supporting fast paced office environments, including various government departments across Australia, assisting with marketing and events, and managing corporate services. Christine emigrated from Ireland in 2013 and commenced with Litigation Lending in 2019.


Mark Arbib

Director of Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement

Mark is a former Federal Government Minister and Australian Senator, serving 2008 to 2012. He brings valuable experience to LLS across politics, community and business. During his political career, Mark held numerous portfolios including; Minister for Employment Participation, Indigenous Employment, Social Housing, Homelessness, Sport and Assistant Treasurer. In Business, Mark served as Director of Strategy and Business Development at Consolidated Press Holdings, 2012-2022. Mark is a board member of the Australian Olympic Committee, the Packer Family Foundation and was the former President of Athletics Australia. He was commissioned and undertook a governance review of Australian Rugby Union (ARU) in 2013. Mark is a former board member of Sydney FC and South Sydney Rugby League Football Club.
