Nuix Class Action

Overview

Litigation Lending is jointly funding a class action on behalf of shareholders who suffered losses after acquiring shares in Nuix Limited (ASX:NXL) in the period from 18 November 2020 to 29 June 2021 inclusive (including by subscription in NXL’s Initial Public Offering).

Nuix is a company which provides investigative analytics and intelligence software.  In the months following Nuix listing on the ASX, and following subsequent announcements downgrading Nuix’s revenue forecasts and disclosing a criminal investigation into allegations of insider trading in NXL shares by its former Chief Financial Officer and his brother, Nuix’s share price fell heavily from its peak value.

The class action alleges, among other things, that Nuix and others engaged in misleading or deceptive conduct by making certain representations in its IPO prospectus which proved false, or in omitting information which ought to have been included, in each case inflating the share price paid by group members.

The class action is being brought by Shine Lawyers, together with Phi Finney McDonald.

If you acquired NXL shares as part of the initial public offering, or on the market between 18 November 2020 and 29 June 2021, you may be eligible to join this class action.
