Litigation Lending Services together with Shine Lawyers is proud to announce more than 1,700 family members and deceased estates of the Northern Territory Stolen Generations have reached a historic $50.45 million settlement with the Commonwealth Government.

If the class action settlement is approved by the Supreme Court, the living members of the Stolen Generation will retain access to the Commonwealth’s Territories Stolen Generations Redress Scheme with separate compensation available for family members and deceased estates.

LLS recognises the Federal Government’s actions toward reconciliation and the recognition of the injustices of the past. We will continue to hold power accountable to bring about a more just Australia.
