LLS is dedicated to funding litigation with our focus on ESG matters reflected in the areas of First Nations justice, the environment, consumer and governance matters. A number of LLS’s recent matters reflect this focus, including a range of landmark class actions on behalf of First Nations peoples to correct injustices from the past in withholding wages going back nearly 100 years as well as finally bringing justice to members of the Stolen Generation in the Northern Territory.

Stolen Generation NT Class Action
A class action on behalf of the Stolen Generations of the Northern Territory who were forcibly removed from their families as children has been settled.
IOOF (ASX: IFL) Class Action
An action on behalf of aggrieved IOOF investors who suffered losses from IOOF’s alleged non-disclosure of corporate misconduct.
BSA Class Action
Shine Lawyers, with funding support from Litigation Lending, has launched a class action against BSA Limited (BSA), on behalf of telecommunication workers who, since 2003, suffered financial losses after entering into sub-contracting arrangements with BSA.

Fonterra Class Action
An action on behalf of Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian dairy farmers who supplied milk to companies within the Fonterra Group during the period 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.
Stolen Wages Class Actions (Multiple States and Territories)
Litigation Lending is funding Shine Lawyers in investigating a number of potential class actions against various States and Territories on behalf of First Nations People who were negatively impacted by Wage Control legislation from the late 1800's to the 1970's.
