Overview
LLS understands that litigation is not always the most effective path to resolution of a dispute. Many disputes can be resolved through alternative dispute resolution (ADR), providing quicker, more cost-effective, and less adversarial outcomes for all parties. LLS provides funding support for a wide range of ADR processes, including arbitrations, pre-litigation mediations and other ADR process such as informal settlement conferences, conciliations and early neutral evaluations.
LLS offers funding and strategic support across a wide range of ADR processes, including:
- attendance and participation at any mediation, informal settlement conference, arbitration or other dispute resolution process convened in connection with claims,
- preparation for any attendance in relation to these processes, ensuring claimants are well-positioned to negotiate a beneficial outcome, and
- consultation services and guidance to help identify and pursue settlement opportunities or other pathways to resolution of claims.
